Who’s Mark Block?

I am not sure who Mark Block is, but he has apparently invited me to speak at the upcoming Americans for Prosperity Conference in Pewaukee. I’m excited about the possibility of leading the crowd in a rousing sing-a-long of The Internationale, but I have no idea how to get in touch with him.

Hello Michael: I’m Mark Block and I AM AFP

We indeed welcome your desire to lead a rousing song at our summit; however we think this would be more appropriate considering the political spectrum that you espouse.

'They're coming to take me away'

Of course the information on the summit is at www.defendingthedream.org

Hope to see you on the 9th :)

So, Mark really wants you to lead AFP in song. Odd they would choose "They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha Ha," to emblemize their efforts.

And, defending what dream? Gated communities everywhere?

Other side - must not be able to follow my comments. We choose the song to emblemize your efforts.

I understood your attempt at humor completely. It just wasn't very good. Par for the course. :)

Thanks, Mark. I'll look forward to getting my complimentary tickets in the mail.

Odd. Everytime I think of AFP, I hear Pink Floyd's "Money". Of course, being on mind altering substances might make their viewpoint more cognizant.

BTW, AFP also mentioned little old Whallah! They called it a "looney lefty site" or some such drivel. I really don't have time for those miscreants.

They fail to mention whose prosperity.

Michal: You can email me with your mailing address or email address and we will promptly mail your comp tickets. How many?

I have a better idea, Mark--Give my ticket to Louis Butler so your audience can have a more balanced view of the candidates running for the Wisconsin Supreme Court this spring.
